Hotel Panchoy started operations in 1994 during Semana Santa. Ricardo Antonio Meillon Pinel officially opened the establishment on August 28th of the same year. Hotel Panchoy is located in the heart of Antigua Guatemala, close to many restaurants, shops, and historical landmarks.
The hotel is built in the colonial style, equipped with a beautiful, spacious patio and terrace. We are conveniently located on 1st avenue, only 4 blocks away from Parque Central. Our corridors are lined with Guatemalan decorations and paintings of Antigua and other parts of Guatemala. Our staff is knowledgeable and helpful, so please ask if you have interests in seeing more of Guatemala as we have many tours to offer.
Our hotel is named after the Panchoy Valley, where the Spanish conquistadors founded Antigua in 1543. More history about the Panchoy Valley can be found in the nearby museums in Antigua.
At Panchoy, you will find your home away from home. The hotel has a nice, friendly atmosphere coupled with our professional and experienced staff. We maintain a focus on making our guests feel comfortable and welcome.
